What is a Vranac?  Never tasted one.

Funny.  There really is a winery called Bodine - in Kansas, of all places!

We asked for a bigger, bolder local wine.  The gentleman told us Vranac is a very good local selection. On the dry side, bold flavor, and mid tannins.  We found it to have a beautiful garnet color, very fruit forward, aroma of raisins (think port), soft finish.  It was quite different from anything we have ever tasted.  It was a mid grade @ 30€.

We love to learn about history and culture when we cruise.  Trying the local wines is another way to savor the culture. 😀🍷😋.
