jfaaborg Posted September 29, 2021 #1 Share Posted September 29, 2021 I'm trying to get an answer from Carnival, but the Extension they have listed for parking in Long Beach is not the correct. My question is on a 5 day cruise to they charge for 5 days parking, or 6?
Moviela Posted September 29, 2021 #2 Share Posted September 29, 2021 The garage is owned by the city and has an operator who charges by the day and fractions thereof. The City of Long Beach also has other parking structures away from the port for much lower rates, and sometimes have free shuttles. Parking is available at the Long Beach Cruise Terminal parking structure for $23 per day (rates subject to change). 0-30 minutes - No charge, 31 to 59 minutes $4.00, 1 to 2 hours $8.00. Note: The Garage Height Limti is 7'0". Oversized vehicles cannot park in the garage but may be accommodated in the adjacent lot. Oversized vehicles are vehicles that take up more than one parking space.
jfaaborg Posted September 29, 2021 Author #3 Share Posted September 29, 2021 Thankx, but doesn't ask the question. I guess I should have said if anyone has direct knowledge of what they charge in my original post. Not a great big deal, I just like knowing exactly what things cost

The parking is $4 an hour to a max of $23 a day. You will pay 6 days parking because by the time you arrive back on day 6, you are already 8 hours into the parking cost. bearette Posted September 29, 2021 #5 Share Posted September 29, 2021 (edited) If you arrive early and leave late you get charged the extra day, but if you are under the 24 hr period it will only be for five days. So your final cost will be based on your arrival and departure time. Edited September 29, 2021 by bearette
jb8162 Posted September 30, 2021 #6 Share Posted September 30, 2021 Each 24 hr. period Lets say you arrive on Monday at 10:00am for a 5 night cruise and get back Saturday morning. You leave the parking structure at 10:00am on Saturday morning. That is Five 24 hr. periods. You will pay for 5 days. If it goes beyond those hours you will pay the additional hour or whatever time it takes.
