Requesting a chair in the stateroom

Has anyone had any success requesting a proper chair in the stateroom?

 

I'm planning on booking the Breakaway, but will probably spend 4-5hr a day in the cabin working. My work allows remote work so taking full advantage of it. The stool that they provide in cabin is not very comfortable. Either that or I take one of the chairs from the balcony and put a cushion on it or buy something in NYC and bring it onboard.

Just ask your steward. I have received a more comfortable (armless) chair for my balcony. Just let them know what you want (and tip well).
