Disembarkation Test - What day of cruise?

Hi Everyone,

 

I am looking to see what cruisers experience was regarding which day NCL performs home testing.  I am trying to figure out if I would be able to stay a day post cruise and still be within my 72 hour requirement to use the test on board to return home. 
 

if anyone could let me know their experience if tests were completed on the last full day (day prior to disembarkation).  It would be appreciated. I am on the Canadian forum but I am looking for this specific to NCL.

On the Jade they did it day 6 of 8, ( two days before disembarking) so for us it was valid for returning home on the day we left the cruise or the next day.

Thank you.  
I would have to fly out the day of the cruise to meet the 72 hours for Canada. I wish we would go to the 3 day rule.  It eliminate the guessing of what time of day we get our test verses flight time.

That was a 7-day cruise, right? Same on Getaway: they offered testing on Day 9 of our 10-day cruise (with disembarkation on Day 11).

So for us disembarking Getaway TA cruise in Miami, with 2day deviation, we'd need to get a test ourselves in Miami before flying back to Toronto.  Or maybe the rules may change at end of Dec./21.
