Really Good News

I had heard that Princess had lowered the fares for our cruise.   So I thought why not ask if they would refare mine.  I figured what does it hurt to ask...right??  I contacted my TA and asked them to check into it.  Their first response was Princess said they had not refared our cruise so there wasn't anything they could do.  I thought, oh well, it didn't hurt to try.  Later in the day I received an email from my TA saying Princess had contacted them and, yes, the fare had been lowered.  They offered to reduce the amount I paid, keep the amenities package, I would get a refund and an OBC.  My jaw dropped.  So now  I have a very nice chunk of change to spend on jewelry, spa, etc. My promise is I will definitely spend all of it or the majority.  I'm a happy camper.
