Port Of Baltimore...can I drop off my bags and leave to park somewhere else?

In a few days, we are taking our rental van to the Port of Baltimore. Is it possible to drop our bags off at the port (We were there a few years ago, and they had bins for us to put the luggage in) and drive off to return our rental at an outside location. Then Uber our way back?

I cannot imagine any problem with this. A number of people are dropped off by a driver who then departs, and those in their own vehicles generally drop off their bags before parking their cars to avoid a long trundle after parking.  There does not seem to be any control which would prevent your plan.
