Celebrity Air this week

Does anyone know Celebrity Air's policy or responsibility if AA cancels a flight that's feeding a sailing this week?  I know of several people on this flight Wednesday.

They will always do their best to rebook on other flights.  It's one of the several upsides to using them for flights.  They call it Assured Arrival.

It isn't something often needed, so if you run into issues, please return and let us know how well they did for you.  Especially if your local airport is an AA hub, it may test their skills.

A few years ago DFW experienced a lightning storm that delayed our flight to EWR with a connecting flight in ORD.  The delay would mean that we would not catch our connecting flight in ORD.  A quick phone call to Celebrity Air and they had us on a nonstop flight to EWR within a couple hours.

Just noting this morning's news where it is estimated AA will cancel 1900+ flights this weekend.  This will be a real test for Celebrity.  Don't envy that crew.

I had a flight cancelled the morning of from Barcelona to Newark.  One call to choice air (at midnight Miami time) and we were on another non-stop flight into Philadelphia.  Ended up getting home an hour earlier than scheduled.
