sgttami Posted November 9, 2021 #131 Share Posted November 9, 2021 (edited) Very nice, Jeff I've always enjoyed your reviews, comments and photos from the first one I saw back in 2014, right before I sailed on Splendor from NY for the first time. (Back when I was afraid to try Carnival) I really do miss those NY sailings. Thanks for sharing ! Rare KmomChicago Posted November 9, 2021 #137 Share Posted November 9, 2021 Jeff and Patti, thanks for the pics. Really loving seeing Farcas in all his unabashed creativity. . . on a Spirit class, which will be our next cruise (under 40 days now) and being reminded to take lots and lots of photos which I honestly only remember to do when reviewing. I hardly got any pics of either Carnival Triumph, first cruise with my DH and kiddo, or Oasis of the Seas, inexplicably. But hundreds on the cruises I planned to review. Data is cheap and moments are fleeting (see what I did there). Ships get updated and that wild carpet might not be there tomorrow, much less on a future sailing (truth - they were replacing printed stairway carpet overnight bit by bit with something understated across the ship on our Triumph cruise). Take pictures, people! Totally aside from the need to post right here during or after the fact, the pics end up giving you a visual diary and timeline of your cruise that you will NOT otherwise remember (even if you don't partake in Cheers). Bonus, if you post a great review, it will ALSO be a way for you to go back and relive your own cruise, while likely helping many others looking for your smart information.

I think the only new decor on the newer Carnival ships that we care for is the ever changing light in the main lobbies of the Vista class ships, that's pretty stunning!

As I said earlier, Patti took over four thousand photos during our adventure. I'll be using about half of them during the course of this review. The rest of them are in our hosting website for us to enjoy, and of course I give everyone access by going to the link in my signature. 8 hours ago, TravelGirlinDallas said: Wow. It’s a great quiet place to hang out and watch the sea go by….. Patti heads back to our cabin and begins to unpack our bags which have arrived. A little while later, I arrive after spending my afternoon hanging out with Orlando and Cussy at the Red Frog Rum Bar, and I needed a nap! I missed our sail away, but Patti captured it from our balcony. Here are some views from our balcony before we sailed away….. The Goodyear Blimp appears overhead…..
