devonuk Posted November 7, 2021 #1 Share Posted November 7, 2021 Travelling with family and we have interconnected cabins so wondering whether the balconies can be opened up too. We have done this on other ships but checking the balcony photos etc. it doesn’t appear to be obvious. Thanks.

purplesea Posted November 7, 2021 #4 Share Posted November 7, 2021 Mum and I have interconnecting cabins on Iona and when we booked we were told that the balconies could be interconnected as well.

Bin man Posted November 13, 2021 #7 Share Posted November 13, 2021 Just returned off iona .The balcony can be opened up .We were in a cabin 10704 with interconnecting doors nobody in the other cabin . The balconies are very big The doors rattled a bit ,wedged some paper in the catch to stop it .The toilet system was very noisy sounded like we were on the main sewer route for the whole ship but got used to it eventually .The balcony doors seemed to be noisy at night couldn't seem to find out why .

Hi, can the interconnecting door in the 2 cabins be kept open for the duration of the cruise or is it that each time you want to move from one cabin to the other you have to open the connecting door and close it behind you?
