How far in advance does the genie reach out?

Last star class pre covid we were sent a preference email and was wondering if that is still happening.

We got our survey about 6 weeks prior and a welcome letter from our Genie about 2 weeks later confirming our preferences.

Yes, we received the general survey in September for our current Star class cruise.

We sail on December 5th and received an email from our Genie on November 8th.  About a month prior to our sail off.   The email was detailed asking for our preferences for dining time, drinks, special reservation requests, etc.   This is pretty consistent timing compared to the other genies we have had pre-Covid.
