Is anyone else seeing large variations of price on the web site

I'm seeing numbers from the same room ranging from $5643.28 to $2565,52

with changes happening within hours

 

this morning price was $4383.52

 

I tried calling Carnival but could not get thru as all sales people were busy and then a message saying technical difficulties

 

Long story short I cancelled my reservation of $5643.28 with an $800 cancellation charge and booked the $2565.52

 

This makes no logical sense to me and I wanted some answers but could not find anyone to talk to

 

any thoughts?
