billyandted Posted February 20, 2006 #1 Share Posted February 20, 2006 Now that we're down to 19 days till our Glory Western Cruise the questions from our group of 13 (only 4 have cruised before) are coming on strong. How much is the internet cafe? Which dining room would we be in for the 6:15 time slot? Do they have Texas Holdum? What kind of games are in the arcade? Can Big Kids(in their 30's) play?LOL Is there a Galley Tour? Is there a mini golf area? I can use all the help I can get!!
MeLuvDaSea Posted February 20, 2006 #2 Share Posted February 20, 2006 The search function is your friend! :D Ok, I'll take on two: Is there a galley tour? There was one on the Celebration back in 2001. I can't recall about the Ecstacy. What kind of games are in the arcade? Can Big Kids(in their 30's) play?LOL The games are pretty standard arcade games, like you would find in any landbased arcade. I am 51 and I play them.... ok, that's all I got. Remember, try the search function....

*CruiseFan* Posted February 20, 2006 #4 Share Posted February 20, 2006 Which dining room for the 6:15 slot? I'm pretty sure it's either. It depends on where your room is if I'm not mistaken :)

There were 2 options for purchaseing blocks of time One package (100 munites) comes in at .55 per minute and the other is .45 #2 - You will not know for certain what your dinner assignement is until you get to the port and receive your Sign and Sail Card. The Platnium (aft) Dining Room was the earlier times (5:45 and 8:00) and the Golden Dining Room (mid ship) had the later times (6:15 and 8:30) #3 - Yes #4 - Sorry....I never went to the arcade #5 - There was no Galley Tour on our sailing #6 - No, not mini- golf Happy to answer any questions!! sounder Posted February 20, 2006 #6 Share Posted February 20, 2006 On our ship (the Legend), they said they don't do tours of the bridge or galley anymore, due to health and safety regulations. They did do a backstage tour (big whoop!).

Cotton Posted February 20, 2006 #9 Share Posted February 20, 2006 Billy/Ted - The galley tours have been announced in the Capers (ship's daily newsletter) on the last several cruises I've been on. Your request for 6:15 dining is only that, a request. When you get your Sail & Sign cards just prior to boarding the ship, you can see which dining room, table number, and time. Assuming all your bookings are "linked", you should all have the same dining assignment. Your group will probably be seated at two tables next to each other. If there's a problem, see the Maitre d' and request a change.
