RCI Credit Card Points - how to use?

So with the gap in being able to sail over that last year or so, my wife and I have racked up some points on our RCI Credit Cards ( Covid did not stop us spending…lol). But when I went to the rewards site I was a bit confused.  I wanted to use our points to pay down one of our current cruises, but it looks like you can only use points for OBC or to book a new cruise. Is this correct?  Am I missing anything?

No, you are not missing anything. They are good towards OBC,cruises,merchandise or upgrades. I cancelled that card after using it for ObC due to the limited uses.

Thanks.  Sounds like a good move.  We got the cards on our last Christmas cruise.  There is only so much OBC I am going to use…lol

Under the Redeem Rewards section, there is an option for “cruise discounts.” You can select the amount and apply it to  a current booking. You can use it to pay down balances before final payment.
