herbanrenewal Posted December 2, 2021 #1 Share Posted December 2, 2021 Is it only Italy that doesn’t let us tour independently? I had booked NCL excursions for every port of my Dec 5 TA except Lisbon. But I still have enough fare on my transportation card for Lisbon from my month there that I was planning to go back to my favorite winery in Belem for another tasting. Now I am not sure if NCL is allowing independent travel
Rare KeithJenner Posted December 2, 2021 #2 Share Posted December 2, 2021 As far as I’m aware Italy has been the only European country that required ship tours for a while now (maybe ever). From the NCL site: ”† Due to local government regulations, guests are required to take a Norwegian Cruise Line shore excursion while visiting Colón, Panama; St. Kitts and ports in Italy as guests will not be allowed to explore on their own.”
