Rabbitlady Posted February 20, 2006 #1 Share Posted February 20, 2006 I have noticed a lot of threads on the N.England/Canada cruising. I have a question- I know that it depends on the time of year.. but why does it seem that the Maasdam is more expensive to cruise on than an Alaskan cruise? I have been comparing prices and there is a substantial difference. I am looking during summer time. Does anyone have any imput? I would like to do this cruise but it is about a 500 dollars a person difference than Alaskan cruises. We are Holland America fans and so we are trying to go on a HAL cruise in summer. We don't want to go to Europe yet so it means it's either the Maasdam cruise or we can just enjoy Alaska again...I guess you can't see enough of Alaska.:D Also... why doesn't HAL go to Hawaii in the summer? I would love to go there but I don't want to go on NCL. I like HAL! I am a teacher so I have to go on break times or summer. Thanks for any info you can provide ...
