St. Martin -Car rental?

I know there are car rental places at the dock in St. Martin, but is it important to reserve ahead or not? Which car places are good to deal with?

 

We need a 6 passenger vehicle -- in November 2006.

We will be in St Martin/Maarten in December of 2006 on the Westerdam and are looking at making a reservation ahead of time through http://www.bestdealcarrentals.net.
