Early dining was very crowded, same with theater. Sea days in Solarium very hard to find an empty seat. I asked two pursers- one said 3570 and the other said a little over 3600- 75% of double occupancy. It did feel full though (Odyssey Dec 12-18). I asked this on the second day. Airbear232 Posted December 27, 2021 Author #27 Share Posted December 27, 2021 We’re on Allure now. Bit of a headache getting on cruise as our Covid test pre-ordered through RCCL website was not delivered to our hotel. RCCL told us not their fault and we needed to arrange last minute for another test. We were told all testing at port already booked. We went to port anyway and put in our luggage and explained situation to staff at port. They arranged for testing but at 3x rate of the test we were supposed to have delivered to hotel. We’ll contest this before cruise end. The first few days were great. Masks for everyone inside. No big sales events. Ship at 60% full capacity. Today we skipped St. Thomas and we’re told skipping St. Kitts as well. Told due to spike “everywhere.” DW’s sister lives up n Charlotte Amalie so we’re very disappointed. All other ships were in port today. Asked how many cases of. Ovid on board. Told confidential. Disappointed. Asked about Captain’s. Corner and told May not happen. Otherwise good cruise. Crew working incredibly hard to give everyone great experience. They’re substituting Perfect Day for missed ports. Hopefully we do get to go there.
