MDR foods not to miss

My OMG taste delight was the pot de creme, which I made the mistake of only ordering one of. It's a heavenly thick caramel pudding in a small cup. I praised it to a Ukrainian who passes out buffet desserts, and she used connections in the kitchen to order me 2 pots de creme for each remaining day of the cruise. I also realized that a lot of the MDR desserts, soups, and mains are served in the buffet in the evening, so I usually did a buffet recon trip at 5:30 or so and sample things I was curious about, so I could decide whether to go for it at a later dinner or to try something else.
