Cadiz to Seville - Drive by rental car?

Has anyone driven this route, especially in September? On the map, looks like an easy drive, but don't know what traffic would be like.

Some good rental car rates from major companies right at pier in Cadiz, some even cheaper than roundtrip train. Am considering this as an option, but would like to hear good and bad about this idea.
