2CoolCanucks Posted February 21, 2006 #1 Share Posted February 21, 2006 We have an inside room (category M) Adventure of the Seas/ Are there clothes/coat hangers in the closets and if so, approx. how many? Do any of you take extras?
CruisingCatherine Posted February 21, 2006 #2 Share Posted February 21, 2006 All staterooms have closets. I would say that there are probably 30 hangers in there. I have traveled with a total of three women before and hangers are never a problem. If you run out just ask your stateroom attendent for some more. One tip though. Many of the hangers have the clips attached to them for hanging up pants or skirts. If you have more shirts save those for when you need them. The extra hangers are the plastic ones you get at the store and do not have the clips.
Schplinky Posted February 22, 2006 #3 Share Posted February 22, 2006 We always ask for more hangers and they always come immediately. You'll be fine.
phoenixlady Posted February 22, 2006 #4 Share Posted February 22, 2006 I always pack my clothes on their hangers. It makes it so easy to unpack and hang everything up right from the luggage. I hate those hotel-type hangers they have in the closets on ships.
Schplinky Posted February 22, 2006 #5 Share Posted February 22, 2006 Just curious, why do you hate them?

Jeepers385 Posted February 22, 2006 #7 Share Posted February 22, 2006 I used to pack our clothes with the hangers and then realized it took up a lot of room and extra weight, especially when I have a DH who loves to overpack.:D On our last cruise I didn't have enough hangers and asked our room steward for extra and he brought them in no time. Cruise Queen 50 Posted February 22, 2006 #8 Share Posted February 22, 2006 We always bring wire hangers they take up less space in the closet we just take all the fat hangers off and give them to the Cabin Steward. Those fat hangers drive me crazy. CQ50
