Looks wonderful.  We love Izumi.

I have another question: are the nail salon and hair dresser open?  I’ll be on for six weeks!  May need an appointment!  Thanks!

I too want to get a pedi onboard, the onboard pedi is cheaper on this ship then the Symphony

Two quick questions.

1) any indication from crew how many of us board this Sunday?

2) with ultimate dining I saw something about $20 credit for a la carte places.  Is the package good at Johnny rockets?

I'm not sure of the number of crew. I know they're short based on our conversations but still amazing service!

And yes, the dining package covers Johnny rockets and you can order whatever you want!

Fun night tonight! We went to the magic show in the theater. We originally had the aqua theater show booked but it was raining and rocking so it got canceled again. Spent the night in the casino and met some amazing people. We played the row of firelink games and drank for a good 3 hours.

Ended up hitting a handpay. I also had a lady approach me and told me I reached prime and put the sticker on my card. She gave me a few benefits but just high level. Still down for the trip but not by much and had some awesome company

Anyone who is Prime with the casino, can you tell me more? This cruise we have the drink package so the free drinks don't matter, but, I'm guessing only I'm able to get the free drinks in the casino and not my wife even though we have the same seapass card? Is the internet discount a true discount or a Royal Caribbean discount? How do you go about taking advantage of the discounted internet? Lastly, being diamond, and say we didn't get the drink package, I'm assuming the casino drinks being prime wouldn't count towards our four each?

Prime gets free drinks in the casino, when the casino is open. Drinks are only for you, but I have seen people ask the bartenders for two drinks at the same time. Casino drinks do not count against your four Diamond drinks.  I think for the Internet discount you need to go to the Internet desk once onboard, to have them apply the discount. I never used it because it seemed to be about the same price as purchasing during a pre-cruise sale.

Congrats on the handpay!!  Sounds like you are having a blast!  I just reached Prime a couple months ago.  I'm curious abt the internet discount, as well.  One thing I DID learn... the free drinks in the casino is only when the casino is open.  There are times that the casino bar will open a few hours earlier than the games. I think this happened when we were in port somewhere.  Anyway, when this happens you will not get free Prime drinks.  The casino must be open (games open) as well.  We didn't realize this initially, so we used our Diamond vouchers for the casino bar until the casino actually opened.  Prime drinks do not count against your Diamond vouchers.  Please note, you will need cash for tips as Diamond vouchers and Prime drinks do not include tips for the servers, and they have never given receipts to add the tips to.

We are trying our first cruise without the drink package, on the Allure in a few weeks.  I'm curious how being Prime and having the Diamond+ vouchers will work out.  Would love to save $ and not have to buy the drink package, although we spend that much, and more, in the casino, so it all balances out.   I'm hoping that Royal will start offering the drink cards again...that will help fill in the gaps, if needed.  Do you know if they are offering the drink card on your cruise?

I checked around last night and never came across the drink card offer anywhere unfortunately

Sounds about right for the discount. Lol. I was surprised we hit prime so quick because we've only been in the casino last night for a few hours and we were in there for an hour the first night and that's it.

What did it take to make prime?

Dollars played?

Time played?

Yes.  I just have an open issue right now with my booking that I am hoping gets resolved soon.  It is very frustrating that they have blocked the sailing and cannot even resolve existing issues.

They re-opened bookings for the cruise ( JS and above available now) and I got right through to an agent as my fare went down. It's taking forever but he is also making a change in passenger for me. Good luck!

Im on 1 hour 10 minutes of him coming on every 3 minutes to say "we are still working. So thank you for your patience" blah blah.

but at least I'm getting it resolved ....just a lotta waiting.

Wow if that is all you have played in the casino since cruises restarted, you blew through a lot of cash plus winnings. Prime = 2500 points.  It is $5.00 a point for slots, so 2500 points = $12,500 played through the slots.

We played a few nights in Odyssey on October and then this cruise the few nights. That sounds about accurate as when we go to Vegas we can easily cycle $10k a night through machines with wins and losses.

OMG, no wonder I never gamble. LOL

$12,500/$1,500 PER Oasis Central Park Balcony = 8 cruises.

Thanks for helping me to book another 8 cruises.

Stay Safe!

The money through a machine isn't all loss though. For example, even though we have that over $12k through the machines, we're only down a few hundred dollars for the trip.

Thanks,  I sort of understood that.  But, not getting personal, what do you start off with?  $500 as a start?

I was never a gambler. I played 52 pickup and lost $5. lol
