Best way to Book if in the EU-Princess Cruises

Hello!

I am an  American living in Germany. Been looking at a sailing I am interested in. Can anyone comment if there are differences if one books on the US site directly or via an agent in the EU? I know the EU often offers more protections. but from pricing, specials. any differences?
