Experience cancelling GoPort Package?

Hi all,

We booked a hotel/shuttle package through GoPort for our 2/13 MSC cruise.  I've since seen other people mention that if anyone on our shuttle tests positive at the pier, then we will all be denied boarding.  Assuming that's true--does anyone have experience with cancelling the shuttle portion of the package?

If we cancel fully, they are only offering a credit for a future package, not a refund.  I'm not sure when we will be cruising again, so I'm not really interested in that option.  I'm thinking of just showing up for our hotel reservation, but NOT taking the shuttle and just driving ourselves to the pier.  That way, we're spending a little extra money on parking but not losing the hotel room we have already paid for.  Thoughts?
