Anyone ever taken taxi to Old City on their own? Lunch recommendations?

Few years ago was on land tour of Colombia and went for dinner on the wall in Cartegena and do not remember the name but there were other restaurants on the wall and really enjoyed the experience and since dinner we got the sunset which made for a memorable experience.  I think you will enjoy the experience at lunch also.
