It's been a while - we were on the Restless Native in 2001. But it didn't feel crowded - there might have been more than 12 people, though it isn't a large boat. We just sat in the netting part and enjoyed the ride. The people who run it were very friendly and knowledgeable - we had a great time (our first time on a catamaran). After the snorkeling the Swizzle drinks were great (we're not big drinkers) and we especially liked the home baked cookies - if you didn't want to get up, they brought them around several times.

Here's a pic

It depends. My friends were on a Radisson tour and it was not overbooked - 15 people tops. We were on Celebrity and it was a sardine fest. You could not walk anyplace without stepping on someone. However, there are some who have been on Celebrity who poseted it was not overcroweded. So it would seem to depend on how many bookings the tour gets.
