Indulge package spending.

Apologies if this has already been discussed. Does anyone know if the OBC on the indulge package has to be equally divided into on board spending and shore excursions credit, or can it be used purely on board? We were Aqua on our recently cancelled cruise and it appears that the shore excursion credit could instead have been used in the Spa. Now we have rebooked as suite guests this option looks to have gone. Has anyone any information on how the OBC can used and is Celebrity flexible on this?

You have OBC.  It can be spent on board for anything purchased on board.  Spa, beverages etc.  All in one category or spread around.

Suggest you explore the search function and the Celebrity website.  Your answers have been discussed here and a detailed explanation is on the Celebrity website.  Google Celebrity Indulge.  Easy

I have already read the explanation on the Celebrity website. What I’m trying to find out from someone who has already used the indulge package, do Celebrity insist half the OBC is spent on shore excursions or are they ok as long as it’s spent somewhere?  On our invoice it’s just recorded as OBC not split into two separate categories.

Plus, you’ll enjoy an onboard credit of up to $200 per person to use however you choose and a shore excursion credit of up to $200 per person to help you make the most of the places you’ll explore. And of course, tips are included, as always. It’s everything you deserve on vacation—and more.

†AquaClass® guests that purchase the Indulge package will receive Spa Credit in place of Shore Excursion Credit.

Whilst I haven't yet sailed with an Indulge package I do have one booked for our July '22 sailing on Beyond. I have used around 80% of the $400pp credit to book speciality restaurants without a murmur so, despite what the blurb says, I suspect you'll be fine using it any way you deem fit.

your question was answered in post #2 & 3, what else do you want?

Actually  it wasn’t. Post 2&3 referred to simply OBC. I’m taking about the  credit given with the indulge package. Some descriptions  refer to a split between OBC and shore excursions credit, while others do not. Post 6 does refer specifically to the credit given with the indulge package which is what I was looking for.

But thank you for your helpful input.

Thanks for asking the original question.  I just got an email stating what you posted in italics, and came here to find out if that was a new rule for the OBC.  I wondered if they did another "change" while I wasn't looking. Glad to read that it is $400 to do with whatever you wish.

You can spend it however you wish. You can also load it all up on a slot machine, cash out and pocket the money.

I did not know you could do this.  Are you saying that if I have $300.00 in onboard credit and I load it all on a slot machine, I can cash out and get the entire $300.00 given to me in cash?

Typically, I have both cruise line credit and TA OBC on my account. I know that the cruise line money is technically Non Refundable and my TA is refundable but every time I have tried this, I can cash out the money at the cashier. Give it a try.

All of my OBC is from Celebrity.  If I do not spend it all, I will try to cash it out in the casino.  I hope it works.  Thanks for this information.  I wonder if others have tried this and been successful?

I've cashed out in the casino several times.  I load the balance at a slot machine, and play for about 10 minutes and then cash out.  Last two cruises - cashed out when I lost 5 cents, and on the next one cashed out when I won 5.00
