Scuba Diving Tortola?

We are going to Tortola February, 2007 and want to do a scuba dive. Does anyone have any suggestions for who to use and what to dive? We get to dive just once a year, so we want the easy to intermediate dive sites.

Thanks for the link. That's a great site. Lots of information. Have you dived with them? How long is the boat ride to the main dives they they cruise passengers to?

Last year we used Dive BVI. http://www.divebvi.com/ They were very friendly and knowledgeable. Nice small groups on clean, good size boats.

we also will be stopping in Tortola in Feb. 2007 and wish to know which is the reecommended operator. We prefer smaller groups, if possible. Has anyone dove the Rhone and is it worthwhile? Do you know which operator the cruise lines use. We will be on the Oceania Regatta.

Earlier this year we (group of 6) used went through them while on the Liberty and and had such a great time that we called Kate, our divemaster, when we got back home to reserve her and her boat for a week this coming October. Not only was she a fantastic guide, the term personable does not do her justice.

 

Whomever you choose to dive with, be sure to make at least one dive on the RMS Rhone. Not only a great wreck, but if you get someone to give you the history first, it makes it even more exciting.
