Serenade cabin questions

For anyone who has cruised the Serenade: we are in cabins 7084 and 7086.

 

1. Will we have the life boats below blocking any of our view? I've read about this on the boards but just wondering where exactly the boats are?

 

2. Will we be able to remove the divider between the balconies? If so, do we just ask the room steward to do this?
