Renting a scooter from Quebec to Fort Lauderdale

I might need to write a mobility scooter from the port in Quebec and ending in Fort Lauderdale. Anyone know of a company that does this?

We've used and are happy with ScootAround from San Francisco.

I should’ve been more specific. I have tried both of those companies and neither one will allow you to rent it in Canada and turn it back in in Fort Lauderdale.

Have you contacted Special Needs at your cruise line?  They should be able to assist you. 

 

Otherwise, you may need to rent it at home, transport it with you however you are traveling, and take it home to return.

Special Needs at Sea gave me a price to rent a scooter for my Ft. Lauderdale to Southampton TA in May.  It's quite pricey but available.

You might try them.

You could try renting one from where you live and then return it when you get home.  Some of our local medical equipment companies that sell mobility scooters also rent them.  Our's rents a Buzz Around Carry on mobility scooter for $300 a month or $100 a week.

I reserved a scooter from Scootaround. All in was around $400 for an 11 night TA from Newark NJ to Southampton. That includes a $100 charge for one way rental.

Me again.  I just rented my scooter yesterday, for my FLL to Southampton TransAtlantic.  I got a very good surprise from ScootAround:  they're having a special price for TA rentals -- $100!  My final price, after adding insurance on the scooter, was 50% of the price quoted by Special Needs.  ScootAround is trying to reposition some of their FL inventory.

 

I don't know if any of this will apply to their Quebec to FLL rentals, but doesn't hurt to ask.
