mpcaruth Posted February 3, 2022 #1 Share Posted February 3, 2022 We have a cruise booked on the Magic in May. I checked today for prices and potential price drops, only to discover none of the May and June sailings for Norfolk are showing up for bookings? This has happened to me twice before: once when Carnival switched ships, and the other time when the cruise was cancelled. Anyone know what may be happening? Knights on the Beach Posted February 3, 2022 #2 Share Posted February 3, 2022 There are a lot of cruises and whole months missing from the site today. See this thread:
brilliantseas Posted February 3, 2022 #3 Share Posted February 3, 2022 John Heald is getting his wish... they must be doing the Cleveland Shuffle! Carnival Sensation heads to Norfolk, while Carnival Magic will home port in Cleveland, Ohio beginning in May, 2022! I'm only kidding, of course. Likely just some IT updates as they adjust schedules for Carnival Spirit, Sensation, Ecstasy, and the re-branded Costa Magica, which will join the fleet later this year. There could be some other deployment changes as they find a permanent home for one of the three mentioned above, but I suspect Norfolk will retain the spring sailings as rates would indicate these are selling well.
