Best SS cabin on Zuider/Wester

We're looking at the SS Verandah Suites for a 2007 Caribbean

cruise on either the Westerdam or Zuiderdam.....Would love

to hear opinions of past cruisers on which cabin might be the most

ideal in that category ! Thanks!

I love the SS cabins on the Vista class ships. They are spacious, and the bathroom really is the highpoint, IMO. Most folks prefer a midship location, but I don't think there are really any bad SS cabins.

we were in 8059 on the Westerdam--the SS's are wonderful! A word of warning, though--we enjoy being mid-ship, but we wouldn't book on the Navigation deck again--we were awakened each day to the sound of chairs being dragged across our ceiling, because we were under the Lido pool area. It went on pretty much all day, so naps were just a fond dream....

We were in 6100 on the Zuiderdam and liked the cabin location very much.

:D We were in 6094 on the Zuiderdam and loved that dam room! Wish I were there.......

We stayed in 6117 on the Zuiderdam, a bit roomier because it is on the angle of the ship about 3/4 of the way from the bow of the ship. Larger verandah too.

 

Our friends stayed in 8099 which was directly above us, to my knowledge they never heard any chairs or other loud noises. It is a bit back from the Lido dining room and not too near the aft pool.
