Question regarding insurance

Does anyone know how it works if one person in the cabin has to cancel due to illness but the other person in the cabin still wants to go? Thanks in advance.

It would also depend upon which exact insurance policy you have.

Your insurance should cover the single supplement charged by the cruise line when your traveling companion cancels, but it depends on your policy. Look for language about single supplement in the cancellation section or call the company to ask.
