It was before the turn of century, OCT. of 97. Sailing from Biegien to Hong Kong. It was the only time In our 40 yrs of cruising we where invited to dine at the captain's table with a few other guest.

In Shanghai we had to wait for ships tour that was 6hr late getting back.

The captain invited us for a tour of the bridge.

Reminded us of what Arthur Former used to say " the ship will never sail if late coming back from a ship's tour "
