Navigator of the Seas Crowds/Congestion During "Normal" Times

We are considering a NYE cruise on Navigator OTS for 2022.  I suspect ships will be at capacity by then.  Prior to COVID, how did Navigator OTS ship handle crowds and congestion when at full capacity? Was the pool super crowded with no way to get a seat during the day? Super long waits for the water slides? Or can the ship handle its crowds well? We will have a 3.5 yr old and 5.5 yr old at the time of sailing.  We have never sailed RCCL so I am not sure how crazy crowded their ships get. Also when is the escape room, laser tag and free skate usually open? Saw compass from a recent 7 night and no mention of any of these 3 activities for the whole 7 night cruise.

I went in December in 2019 and I would assume that it was mostly full.   I didn't think it was over crowded at all and if you made any effort, you can get a good seat where you want.   On sea days you need to get out earlier to get a free cabana or front row at the pool.  There generally was always somewhere to sit available.
