Under 12s unvaccinated welcome on board

The policy has changed again. From the sail safe page

Effective for all sailings March 1, 2022 and beyond

All guests age twelve and over, as well as all crew, must be fully vaccinated at least 2 weeks prior to departure in order to board. While we welcome unvaccinated children ages eleven and under onboard, it is the responsibility of the guest to be aware of any local protocols and/or travel restrictions in place at the visiting destinations at the time of sailing

I just saw this as well.   However, the letter I received say they will have additional tests at embarkation and I don't see that detail on the sail safe page

"For guests who are unable to provide proof of a negative result at the time of embarkation, antigen testing will be available at the terminal
at the guest’s expense (cost may vary depending on the port and the vendor).
In addition, all unvaccinated guests under the age of 12 on sailings from or to a US port will be subject to additional testing at
embarkation and disembarkation as part of the U.S Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Voluntary COVID-19 Program for Cruise Ships
Operating in U.S. Waters.
o NCL will facilitate and cover all costs associated with embarkation and disembarkation testing for non -vaccinated guests under
the age of 12.

• On select sailings, local government or health authorities may require guests to partake in additional COVID-19 testing prior to boarding.
If this is the case, NCL will provide free testing at the terminal."

For under 5s yes. But between 5 and 12 they were to be vaccinated. But from today this has changed to under 12s can be unvaccinated. A subtle change.
