El Salto Hiking - Ensanada

Has anybody done the El Salto Hiking trip in Ensanada?  Is it a difficult hike?  We are 60+ year olds and are quite active, but would prefer a hike that is not too difficult.

Hi dalmoradie:  We haven't done this trail personally, but you might want to read more on this website before you plan it out.  quote:  "only recommended for very experienced adventurers."  Lots of personal trail ratings and experiences on the site may give you a better idea about the Canyon hike.

Maybe you want the 'easy' trail that just goes to the waterfall?  84m elevation gain, 3.4 km.

I have no idea which trail they use with the NCL excursion so I might just look for something else to do.  We certainly do not want to go in over our heads.
