Confused about nonrefundable trip cost

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Iam a little confused as to what trip cost to insure if the insurance ask in regards to nonrefundable trip costs.
Do I need to insure prepaid gratuities and purchases made like drink package, internet, etc? I always thought they were refundable but now was reading that you get refund up to 48 hours before sailing. Otherwise you have to go talk to to guest services onboard.

So now I don't know if I need to add those cost to the plan.

Thank you for your help
