Waiting for Uber.  The ride share area is clearly marked and easy to find and it is in between terminal 1 and terminal 2 at FLL.

I figured you wouldn't taken an inaugural cruise as the time to test the wits and patience of the embarkation staff 😆 photos look fine on my end - did a dive through both of your fancy and value cruise threads from the past couple of weeks on my phone and computer and I never had trouble with your pics!! for what my little opinion is worth!

JFK Terminal 2.  It might not look all jazzed up and outdated but it is the most convenient terminal from check in to gate to luggage.  I have tried the modern terminal at JFK and it’s like walking a football field!

I'm surprised you are risking flying into Florida on same day as the cruise. I always go a day ahead to fend off unexpected calamity.

I tried that in my January cruise and trust me it did not go as planned to say the least 😝.  I figure in the NYC metro area I have access to 3 major airports so if there is a hiccup I will make flight changes.  Either that or just go on the next cruise!

Granted I was going to Cuba, but I saw car tires on the luggage carousel....and I think tvs? some type of large electronic box....

So I had a 1 PM arrival time but I got to the terminal by 10:36 AM.  To my surprise they were letting everyone in.  They do have all the ques set up though so the experience might be different later on, by 10:50AM I am ready to board the ship but have to wait until Wonder is ready!

So I am doing this in reverse today… instead of hanging out on deck 5 I went straight to Windjammer to find a nice place to park until my room is ready then I will go back down to deck 5.  What a good choice … be prepared to feast your eyes!

Yes they are serving lobster tail and a boat load of seafood that you would find at a specialty restaurant.  I am glad I did not buy the UDP on this voyage!  I am ready to “deal” with the lack of choices at the buffet!  😂

That buffet looks incredible.  In taking 40+ cruises, I've eaten in the Windjammer once.  I might rethink that one  😋😂.  Great start to the review so far.  Thanks again.
