Yep, think about how many more cruises you could pay for with interior cabin pricing.

agree. I know if I want a fancy room I would look at Vegas or resorts on land.

The most important thing on a ship is good weather, good ports, and good views.  And the great bread and soups and all the entertainment,  I do not go on cruises for gourmet food, I do like a good Thermal Spa and NCL has some of the best. sorry RCi.

I really don’t mind interior room and with royal up I can go any where lol (space available) of course!  I hope the Oasis Pool will be warmer too.  It was still cold in February

but it is a great island to walk around.  I might bring a wet suit in 5 weeks if I can buy one,

Sorry for being late to the party.  Finally got caught up with your Oasis value thread and then found out about your casino deal and 20.00 Royal Up on the maiden voyage of the Wonder.   Can't believe how good the Windjammer food looks.  Of course, it'll probably be different a year from now.

Since I have 11 booked for this year and another 11 booked for next year, Wonder will be on the agenda for a B2B in early 2024.

You have to save some time for the ICON… I am sure that will be just as amazing.  I really do like how beautiful the ship looks and the “Celebrity” vibe it has.  Plenty of great food choices onboard.  I was impressed.  It has a different vibe, I can’t put my finger on it, but it’s different than when I was on the Oasis.  It’s strange, I kind of miss the Oasis while on the Wonder.  Weird right?

Day 5 Sea Day

Guest Relations … People will complain about anything for free stuff at guest relations.  This one person was complaining about how “aggressive” the staff was trying to sell the drink package.  She kept saying the staff don’t know what the the person is going through, or if he has an alcohol problem … blah blah blah… how that ruined the cruise … ummm… you can just say no thank you!  They do not harass you to buy something.  WOW!

Day 5 Smoking section

Look for the yellow chairs outside Windjammer… or the Casino (while playing) people just sit there and smoke away!

Are the yellow chairs like the Scarlet Letter?  You sit in one and you're branded a smoker.

I already have the Icon on my list for 2024 as well as the new Sphere Class on Princess.  It will be their first LNG ship and sized about 170 K tons so 10 K tons smaller than the Mardi Gras.  Another ship on my radar will be the third ship from the Prima Class on NCL.

So, which ship are you on out of FLA next month and you're doing the Oasis again in May, right?

So the next three months goes like this… April is a light month, just the Celebrity Edge, May will be the Oasis then Adventure of the Sea both out of NJ.  June will be a 10 nighter on NCL out of England and then another week on the Oasis at the end of the month in June.

So you cruise out of NJ on 12th, after we arrive on the 13 night repo?

Where do you put it all?  Between your pre dinner "snack" at Windjammer or Izumi while on UDP, and now 2 apps, soup, 🍆 Parm, and a half dozen tails.  At least you had broccoli to counter balance things.

As a side note, do they have the tutti salad bar at the MDR on sea days for lunch or was that a Covid casualty?

Amazing.  I have 11 over the course of the year and I'm retired.  You have 10 through the first six months including a 10 nighter on NCL and I assume the Adventure is 9 nights. So 75 nights over 6 months is quite impressive.

On the Adventure of the Sea … yeap!  That is my old time favorite ship!  Cozy, dependable, one big happy family!  Met a lot of nice crew members on that ship and still kept in touch.

I am trying .. don’t want to let the pinnacles have all the fun!  Well you already know what I have planned for the end of the year, I have a few more for the second half of the year.

Have not been on Royal for a few years and we really enjoyed the tutti salad bar that was set up in the MDR where they hand mixed your choice of ingredients in a large bowl.  Was looking forward to it on our 5 day value cruise on the Oasis.
