Joy aft balcony update

Just off the Joy 3/5, aft balcony 12958. So glad I listened to my DH and did not change cabins due to a reported vibration problem. Happy to report there was NO excess vibrations that could be felt anywhere in the aft portion of the ship even in high seas the last couple of nights. Only time we felt any movement was during docking. Loved our aft balcony!

Would love to hear any other recent experiences please. We were so close to booking a Aft cabin for an April sailing and then read about the noise some reported and got cold feet

Great to hear.  When I sailed in December the MDR was shaking and shaking beyond what I would call normal.  Seems they hopefully found a fix.  My guess is they were running with a generator down and didn't tell people.

Thank you so much for posting this. I was thinking of booking an aft on deck 12. Can you tell me was the bed near the balcony or closet? Did you have a lounger on your balcony? Any chance you have a picture of room and balcony?

Yes! Would love to have more information on this room - my mom and our 17 year old son will be sharing it during our upcoming cruise in August - we will be in the room next door! Glad to hear you were happy with it - we are so excited to finally be returning to sailing after the past few years!

The bed was near the balcony which I liked because it made the cabin more open as you walked in. There were 2 loungers and 2 chairs on the balcony with a little side table. I will try to upload picture and video.

Are there 2 loungers on the deck? Is the bathroom small?
