What does "in transit only" mean?

Might sound a bit thick but looking at excursions for our Pacific coastal cruise and some of them say the words "in transit only" alongside the description 🤔 what does this mean ???

My guess is that it means the tour is not available if your cruise starts or ends in that port,  ie you could not do it on embarkation or debarkation day. If you are just stopping in that port somewhere mid cruise, then it is available. I saw one example of this for Seattle, Seattle Quest Tour.

I think this is correct. We are doing a Pacific Coastal and booked one of these for Seattle.

Thank you....I did wonder if thats what it meant but when you're looking at an excursion on a cruise that doesn't embark or disembark in settle then why bother saying its in transit only...as everyone booking it will be in transit surely?? Typical celebrity I guess 🙄  thanks for clarifying 👍
