Miami Port: Celebrity Summit Parking/ Luggage Question

Cruising on the Summit this Monday. When we head to the Port of Miami, should we drop off our luggage first and then go to park the car. Or is it ok to park the car first and then bring our luggage to the terminal? Just not sure how far away the garage is from the terminal where the Summit is. Thanks.

We sailed on the Summit out of Miami in November and the garage is right across the street.  We dropped off the bags before parking but if you're not traveling with a lot of luggage, you can park first and then drop off your luggage.
