mhb1757 Posted March 15, 2022 #1 Share Posted March 15, 2022 Viking has now posted the new itinerary. Russia and the Baltic Sea cruises have been renamed Scenic Scandinavia. Tallinn and St Petersburg are out. Gdansk, Aarhus, Berlin are in. They offered $250 OBC and 10% of your fare back as future cruise credit. We went ahead and canceled our June sailing of this. The good news is they reinstated the full amount of the voucher that we had used to book this cruise (from same cruise canceled in 2020 and again in 2021). The bad news is since we will be rebooking a different cruise in 2023 with the vouchers there will be no “Risk Free Guarantee “.
miami mama Posted March 16, 2022 #2 Share Posted March 16, 2022 Are there more ports in Norway and Sweden added as a consequence of cancelling St Petersburg and Tallinn?

Yes. Oslo(Norway) , Aaland (Finland) and Bornholm (Denmark).
Rare milling73 Posted March 16, 2022 #4 Share Posted March 16, 2022 We were also booked on this cruise for July 2022, and are trying to decide whether to keep or not. Both The Finland island (close to Stockholm), and Bornholm (Denmark) offer very little to see or do (in our opinion). And Oslo is certainly no replacement for St Petersburg. We would have rather seen a day added at Copenhagen which has so much more to see and do, or for Viking to even extend travel further up the Norway coast, than what they did. Kinda feels they just added stops to make up time, than care whether anything was actually offered as a comparable replacement.
