Looking to book shore excursions for Alaska and RCL is sold out on most everything. Has anyone used this company and can recommend?

Looking at their WEB site, it looks like they are tour consolidators and not actual tour operators.  Think ToursbyLocals as an example of a tour consolidator.  This is not necessarily bad but I have 2 problems w tour consolidators.  Firstly, a tour operator has to give some of their profit to the consolidator to be listed on their site which reduces the amount of money that the actual tour operator gets.  Secondly, if you have a problem w the tour you can't speak directly w the tour operator to clear up the issue.

 

Tour operators can be useful however.  What I frequently do is to go on to the consolidator site to find out what is available and then try to figure out which company is actually doing the tour.  It sometimes takes a bit of work to do this but at least the tour operator gets all of my money.
