Hello, we've just returned from the mermaiden voyage on the Valiant Lady and I thought I would share some information that I would like to have seen before I boarded.

The Little Red Book

Full of information about the cabin, room service menu, Bimini map and more.

Read it here....

https://www.flipsnack.com/BFBDCEFF8D6/virgin-voyages-red-book.html

Detailed Deck Plans

Whenever I've searched online I've only seen very basic deck plans.

The version I've saved here is more detailed...

https://www.flipsnack.com/BFBDCEFF8D6/virgin-voyages-scarlet-lady-deck-plans.html

Virgin Voyages Food

I've made a video about my food experience on Valiant Lady...

Rockstar Cabin

Again a little video tour of the cabin...

Finally - the ship

A video tour of the ship...

Hope you find the information useful, happy to answer any questions.

Wow thanks for all this information! Super helpful!

Do you know if you can book the shows on the app before your cruise? I'm 41 days out from sailing and I can book dinners only but not lunches, breakfast, or shows?

Just wondering if there's an issue with my app or all that waits till on board.

Thanks!

Thank you for this information! I had been asking about the little red book and even sailor services couldn’t help.

you cannot book breakfast, lunch, shows or exercise classes until you get on the ship.

Brilliant video's - thanks David. Loved them

We sailed Scarlet Lady last August and are doing Valiant on the Zeebrugge weekend at the end of April.  We can't wait to visit the restaurants again even if it means we leave quite a few pounds heavier when we roll off! We had consider the afternoon tea but will now definitely give it a miss -  seems better to pick up some cakes from the Galley and then just buy a glass of Champagne (or even shake for champagne) at a venue of our choice.

Thanks so much Quacks

I think your plan of going to The Galley, rather than the Paid For afternoon tea is a good one. I was so surprised that I didn’t enjoy it, because, mainly the food on Virgin is excellent.

Hope you enjoy your trip on Valiant Lady 👍

You cannot book shows until  you are on the ship, but you can book things like trivia games and some spa things like Scarlet Night Makeover, etc.  And yes, you can book dinners, but not breakfast or brunch until you are on the ship.

From my understanding, if you book a Rockstar suite, you can book dinner reservations before getting on the ship, is that correct?

Anyone can book dinner reservations before boarding. But I believe Rockstars can do it earlier (60 days instead of 45 IIRC).

Sorry, another question. So new to virgin. With the Rockstar mini bar stocked once (not mega Rockstar), what is all included for the initial setup?

Half bottles each of

gin

vodka

tequila

scotch

bourbon

rum

Moet champagne

white wine

red wine

2x cans Heineken

2x cans Wynnewood ale

2x Red Bull

2x tonic water

2x ginger ale

Can request cans of the complimentary sodas anyway. We asked for Diet Coke and Sprite and some ice. The ice got refilled each morning and night.

Hope that’s helpful.
