Is the Steakhouse a worthwhile experience?

I've gone to the Steakhouse/alternative dining restaurants on Carnival and other lines over the years.

Sometimes it's wonderful and other times  it's "just OK."

I've never regretted it. because it's part of the vacation experience.

Different strokes for different folks so check it out and make your own decision.

Yes, we had a wonderful experience on the Liberty this week. I booked it pre cruise expecting a 3 hour time. Now they take all of the order at one time, but not the dessert. I ordered lobster bisque soup, filet mignon and lobster. DH ordered smoked oysters and Wygu steak.

mine was better.

we were in and out within one hour since they take the orders up front. We got dessert to go.

Love the overall experience and shortened time!!!

Have been to the steakhouse on a number of different ships and have found the quality to vary, with the exception of David's on the Pride which was consistently excellent. Maybe just me, but the Wagyu did not seem exceptional to me. I'll stick with the ribeye.
