Mabel the Great..Dane Posted March 29, 2022 #1 Share Posted March 29, 2022 My husband has 200.00 rewards certificate from Casino Royal and I have 100.00 certificate. Are we able to use those if we book with a travel agent? Also, are we able to use both certificates or is it just one per stateroom? We have no idea how any of this works.... YankeesFan4Life Posted March 29, 2022 #2 Share Posted March 29, 2022 No. You need to book directly with Casino Royale. We booked a cruise while onboard Allure last year when we both earned a $400 voucher (each). We booked two cabins for an upcoming cruise in August with the Cruise Next people. He got us the best deal, cabin assignments etc, then I had to call Casino Royale a couple days after we got home to have them take over the booking. It was a pain in the butt IIRC, but in the end, its worth it for the savings. They, in turn become your TA. I was even able to get a rate reduction on my cruise with extra OBC so again, it worked out fine.
footeam Posted March 29, 2022 #3 Share Posted March 29, 2022 Yes, your travel agent can book it for you. It just has to be managed over the phone rather than online.
sandebeach Posted March 29, 2022 #4 Share Posted March 29, 2022 If you are traveling together in the same room, you can combine your offers.

We haven't been allowed to use our TA for our numerous casino offers for a couple years. Did something change?

Mabel the Great..Dane Posted March 29, 2022 Author #7 Share Posted March 29, 2022 Thank you, everyone, for your prompt answers. I emailed my travel agent this morning and she said the booking had to be done through Casino Royale, so I guess that's what we'll do.

I booked a cruise onboard with a RCI Cruise Consultant and then had the casino credit added after I returned home by contacting Casino Royale. Took two minutes to do. Not a hassle at all and I was told if I need to make any changes I could just contact RCI directly. I also received another offer in the mail yesterday and it clearly states “Call your Casino Royale representative at 1-888-***-****, your travel advisor or independent casino representative”. It could be that your agent just doesn’t want to be bothered. Casino bookings now offer a flat rate commission rather than a percentage like in the “old days”. Maybe it’s just not with it to her anymore.
