Have slot & blackjack tournaments returned

Have not seen any recent info on the return of slot & blackjack tournaments. Have they returned or is the Casino still giving out $25.00 credits to make up for no tournaments ? Last cruise in Sept 2021 we were given the $25. Have a upcoming sail in May on the Mardi Gras and hope the tournaments are back.

There were no tournaments on the Freedom last week. Got $25 cash.

For now, Carnival's website still states:

CASINO – We are currently unable to host casino tournaments on board and Platinum/Diamond guests will be given US $25 in Casino FunPlay

I actuall hope they don't come back for a while. We entered a slot tournament once but not on any of our other 30+ cruises. But we have been happy to take the $25. It is kind of compensation for the time and effort of the scavenger hunt for the liters of water etc. 😄

I prefer the $25 in free play anyway, and I hope they keep it for Platinum and higher guests.

The $25 is nice but i do hope in the future the Blackjack tournaments return. Have a couple of nice T-shirts and a hat for making it to the final table a couple of times

how do you get the credit/cash? I always do the slot tournament and even won once!
