Boarding day Covid test for unvaccinated kid

We are 10 days out from our Anthem sailing and will be traveling with my 3-year old. By all accounts, I should have received an email by now to register him for his boarding day Covid test at the port. A family that we are traveling with got theirs last weekend, and our Facebook cohort has posted about receiving theirs. 
 

I made 2 calls to customer service and were told both times that they would make “a note” and I should receive an email in a few days. That was 4 days ago. 
 

Does anyone know what will happen if I don’t get the registration email (which requires a guest specific reference number to register) by boarding day? Will he still be tested if we show up with everything else ready?

Yes, he will be tested. But I’d keep trying, it makes the process smoother.

Skip the regular line when you get to Cape Liberty - there's a special line for folks with kids to the right.

The registration is merely an administrative thing. If you show up without registering, you'll still simply go to the testing line

Thanks for the replies, I’ve been panicking trying to make sure everything goes smoothly. I feel better now knowing this isn’t something we might be denied boarding for. 
 

I can’t wait to breathe a sigh of relief once I’m on the ship with drink in hand.
