Parking at Canal d'Amour beach, Sidari, Corfu?

We are scheduled to stop at Corfu during our Greek Island cruise this summer.  We'd like to visit the Canal d'Amour (Κανάλι του 'Ερωτα) beach, 39.7970°N 19.6982°E,  in Sidari, on the northwestern part of Corfu/Kerkyra, about 36 km NW from the cruise ship pier.

 

This beach is small, tremendously popular, surrounded by hotels and resorts.  I am have problems trying to identify the best parking spot, without parking on a parking lot belonging to a resort or a hotel complex.  We are planning on visiting in the morning, before tourists start to pile up, and going to more secluded beaches.

 

Do you have any advice on where to park close to the beach?  Or do we have to park all the way by the tennis courts next to the Sidari port?
